Short Description
Responsible for helping deaf or hearing-impaired patients/individuals understand what is being said in a medical setting. Must be familiar with and understand the subject matter and medical terms so that an accurate translation can be provided to the patient.
Experience Required
- 2 years in healthcare setting.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required. BS preferred.
License/Certification Requirements
- ASL certification.
