- Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to Moorestown Multidisciplinary sites.
- Leadership may be remote; requires ability of expanded problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making at a supervisory level. Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site.
- This model focuses on the acute / immediate care needs in the Moorestown and surrounding areas.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.
- Participates in cross training in other specialty areas.
- Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement projects.Experience Required
- 1 year of OR RN experience required; 1 year of specialty experience preferred.Education Requirements
- BSN preferred; Graduate of NLN accredited School of NursingLicense / Certification Requirements
- Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
- Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
- CNOR PreferredSpecial Requirements
- 10 hour shifts with a flexible start time
- The OR Nurse Coordinator requires critical thinking to consider factors related to patient safety, effectiveness, and cost in delivering care.
- Effective resource utilization by the Nurse Coordinator requires coordination with the Clinical Director to plan or change course of action for improved continuity of care and outcomes.
