Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move inventory safely and efficiently
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with precision and attention to detail
- Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
- Stock shelves and organize warehouse space to optimize storage capacity and accessibility
- Assist in cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock replenishment to ensure inventory accuracy
- Support warehouse distribution operations by loading trucks, unloading deliveries, and maintaining a clean workspace
Skills
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes
- Certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (such as AS400 or similar platforms) and RF scanners for inventory control
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for order quantities, measurements, and inventory adjustments
- Ability to physically work and lift materials weighing up to 90 lbs
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures along with order fulfillment best practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
