Summary:
You will be in charge of ensuring tenant satisfaction as the first touchpoint within our company. Current and prospective tenants will call, email, and text to setup showings, ask questions about their accounts, or inquire about maintenance requests and you will assist them. You will also accept rent payments, attend showings, conduct lease signings and handle any paperwork/administrative tasks needed, such as annual property compliance requirements. Every day will be a unique experience as there are always new leasing or maintenance challenges to tackle and get in front of. You will have support from our asset manager, assistant property manager, and our President who will collaborate with you on larger tasks and answer any questions you may have. Spanish is the first language for many of our current and prospective tenants, so being bilingual is a requirement. This position will be full time for a period of 6 months, with an opportunity for it to become permanent depending on performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work order management: Taking & returning tenant phone calls about maintenance issues within 30 minutes, dispatching maintenance technicians or vendors and following up until work order is closed out.
- Inbound Leasing Inquiries: Answer leasing inquiries and attend property showings for our available vacancies. Build customer relationships with prospective residents and ensure they are able to view the property of their choosing, apply, and move in smoothly.
- Office Administration: Ensuring the office runs smoothly. Greeting occasional visitors/tenants paying rent, answering phone calls and texts, opening incoming mail, sending emails, mailing paperwork, and managing other administrative tasks.
- Cross Functional Administrative Duties: Assisting our asset manager, property manager, acquisitions associate and president with paperwork and administrative duties.

Requirements:
- Driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Bilingual (English & Spanish speaking) required
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated history of success in dynamic work environments
- College degree preferred, but not required
- Real Estate experience encouraged, but not required
Compensation: $62,000 per year
