What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician/Veterinary Assistant position at Cooper's Veterinary Care?
Cooper’s Veterinary Care is looking for an experienced veterinary technician or assistant with a positive outlook, who appreciates contributing to the team function as a whole, enjoys their profession, and honors the human-animal bond.
We have 4 exam rooms and a private surgical suite, digital radiography (including dental), integration of IDEXX into our digital software, CO2 laser, therapy laser, in-house IDEXX diagnostics, and spacious treatment and break rooms.
We put patients first, enjoy what we do, and get through crazy days together. All of our staff is cross-trained between reception and technical skills, so there is always a helping hand. The entire team has been fear free trained, and we actually incorporate this into practice for everyone’s benefit. We all have families and lives outside the clinic, and we understand that. We support each other through the craziness of juggling life and create our own flexible schedule. We have a great clientele and do not tolerate abusive clients. We schedule annual/sick appointments for 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on patient needs. Collaboration with specialists is the norm. We go the extra step for our patients.
We are open Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm. NO weekends, overnights, emergency calls; We do not provide grooming or kennel services.

Pay: $16.00 - $27.00 per hour
