Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
- Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and traditional brush methods.
- Mix paints and match colors according to specifications and color theory principles.
- Install fixtures as needed during the painting process.
- Read work orders and project specifications to determine the scope of work required.
- Work with drywall materials to repair or finish surfaces prior to painting.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to painting projects.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized throughout the project duration.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of color theory and its application in painting projects.
- Experience with stucco surfaces is desirable.
- Ability to read work orders and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Familiarity with fixture installation processes is beneficial.
- Competence in using power tools safely and effectively is required.
