What You’ll Do:
- Review & understand construction documents. Check drawings for accuracy against CH standards, and proactively communicates errors & omissions to CH Design team & Architect to prevent change orders where possible.
- Lead bid process for assigned construction projects including selection of general contractors, assembly of bid documents, management of the bid period, analysis of bids, management of approval process, bid award, and issuance of contracts.
- Negotiate final bid and prepares bid vs. budget analysis and recommendation for Leadership.
- Develop, track and report project schedules to all stakeholders.
- Review project contracts for accuracy. Reviews and approves contractor & owner furnished vendor invoices & change orders.
- Coordinate onsite logistics, utility locations, sequencing, etc. with landlord & landlord contractors to ensure work is delivered on time to prevent delays to CH build schedule.
- Efficiently manage general contractors and CH vendors throughout the construction project, holding them accountable to the highest quality at the best possible cost.
- Manage the turnover process from Construction to Operations & Facilities teams, including development and prompt completion of the punch list, transference of warranty and maintenance information, and communication of essential restaurant maintenance procedures.
- Monitor and track project costs against approved budgets, ensuring that proper documentation is maintained at all times in our project management program
- Must demonstrate Cooper’s Hawk vision and values.
- B.S./B.A. in Architecture/Construction Management/Civil Engineering or equivalent experience is desired.
- At least 10 years’ experience in commercial architectural, engineering and/or construction fields.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction of complex, high-volume upscale/fine dining restaurants.
- Competent in Adobe & Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.Experience with SiteFolio Project Management software is a plus.
- Highly organized, self-directed and takes initiative with ability to shift priorities and adjust in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

- Flexibility to travel up to 65% to project sites throughout the country, including overnight travel
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders to conduct building inspections as required
- Overtime may be required to support restaurant operating hours and project deadlines
