Job Overview:
Responsible for the safe and effective execution of all site storeroom activities. Storeroom activities consist of daily material requirements planning (MRP) such as inventory control, creating purchase requisitions, receiving material, fulfilling pick tickets, kitting material, cycle counts, etc.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assigns daily tasks to storeroom clerks and provides ongoing mentorship and training to ensure high-quality performance.
- Handles all personnel matters for storeroom clerks, including hiring, reviews, and discipline.
- Manages spare parts inventory control, including min/max levels, ordering, receiving, and issuing materials.
- Leads site vehicle fleet management, ensuring preventive maintenance compliance and cost-effective repairs.
- Oversees rental equipment operations and billing while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.
- Engages with Operations and Maintenance teams through scheduled meetings to ensure material needs are clearly defined.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Specific Skills:
- Possesses general mechanical background.
- Comprehensive understanding of storeroom activities and metrics. Expert level understanding of a plant MRP system.
- Knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes, proper use of work order system, planning and scheduling, and storeroom processes.
- Ability to visualize and communicate execution of work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Approachable and tactful.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
Minimum Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 10 years of experience in an industrial or similar setting or
- Bachelor of Science degree with 5 years of experience in an industrial or similar setting is required.
- Participation in an apprenticeship program or technical school is preferred.
Certifications & Licenses:
- Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:
This position involves medium physical work, requiring the ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally 20 pounds of force. Perform tasks involving hand and arm movements such as typing, reaching, and handling small items. The role requires frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, and use of close visual acuity for tasks such as reading, working at a computer, and inspecting small parts. Regular responsibilities include frequent reaching, fingering, and repetitive hand or wrist motions.
Working Conditions:
The worker operates in a variety of environments, including both indoor and outdoor settings. The job involves exposure to extreme temperatures—both cold (below 32°F) and heat (above 100°F)—for more than one hour. The work environment is noisy, requiring shouting to communicate. The worker is also exposed to various physical hazards, including moving machinery, vehicles, electrical currents, heights (scaffolding), intense heat, and potentially harmful chemicals. The worker is required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.

Shift Schedule: Works Monday - Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm or Monday - Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm
Pay: Base pay with annual bonus
