Cooper Contracting specializes in railroad bridge construction, repair, demolition, culvert installation, pile driving, and track installation and repair across various locations.
We are seeking a motivated Light Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on pick-up trucks and heavy equipment used in our railroad construction and repair projects.
Your expertise will help keep our machinery running smoothly, ensuring project timelines are met with safety and precision.
Duties
- Performing oil changes
- Changing Brakes
- Rotating Tires
- Checking fluids
- Lubricating Equipment
- Checking Batteries
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to promote a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure equipment availability for ongoing projects
Qualification & Skills
- Must have a valid driver's license - have a CDL A would be a plus
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be a team player
