Specialist Mechanic - HVAC

A Specialist Mechanic - HVAC performs inspection, maintenance, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of hospital HVAC, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and control systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Troubleshoots equipment issues, responds to service calls, conducts system testing and air exchange monitoring, and maintains related tools and supplies. Ensures compliance with safety standards. Supports hospital operations by responding to emergency codes, assisting with security and restraint policies, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and team-oriented work environment.

• 3-5 years' experience required.
• Must have basic knowledge of HVAC theory and working principles as normally acquired through completion of technical high school courses and/or vocational school courses.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.

• High school diploma required.
• Completion of technical or vocational school required.

• Universal Refrigerant License.
• Valid Driver's License.
