About the Role
Cooper Mechanical Solutions is seeking a motivated and experienced Plumbing/Mechanical Project Manager to join our construction team. This is a dynamic, full-time position that blends project estimation and field management for HVAC construction projects in the commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with leadership experience, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex project timelines, budgets, and coordination with multiple trades. This position offers strong long-term growth potential within a well-established company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop budgets and purchase materials
- Manage manpower, job schedules, and subcontractor coordination
- Handle project submittals, RFIs, and material procurement
- Oversee project execution to ensure completion on time and within budget
- Interface with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams
Qualifications
- 2 years of Mechanical and/or plumbing project management experience
- Estimating experience is preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and construction documentation
- Familiarity with Trimble AutoBid is a plus
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, physical, background check, and MVR review
