Duties And Responsibilities
The Product Manager / Director will be responsible for the following:
Market
- Identify installed base and customers, and prioritize for parts sales and overhauls
- Identify and build relationships with the top customers who have this installed base by leveraging the Cooper motto: “Better than OEM”
- Evaluate competition and build SWOT analysis to optimize our ability to win
- Evaluate and build field service capabilities for overhauls
- Identify high failure or high-volume parts to stock, and recommend suitable stocking levels
- Collaborate with engineering team to improve key parts
- Develop and drive strategic marketing and communication plans
- Develop pricing plan in collaboration with Pricing team for key customers and products
- Collaborate with other third-party vendors and service companies to complement our offerings
- Responsible for the overall topline growth for this business segment
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Knowledge of combustion, emissions and performance standards of reciprocating engines
- Midstream industry experience is highly desirable
- MBA would be a plus, not necessary
- Basic understanding of contract structures
- Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with customers
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), CRM and SAP
- Commitment to safety, customer service quality and to work in team-oriented environment
