Job Overview

The Product Manager / Director is an industry leader who is responsible for growing Cooper’s aftermarket business for the legacy Clark, Worthington and Ingersoll-Rand slow speed integral engines

Duties And Responsibilities

The Product Manager / Director will be responsible for the following:

Market

• Identify installed base and customers, and prioritize for parts sales and overhauls
• Identify and build relationships with the top customers who have this installed base by leveraging the Cooper motto: “Better than OEM”
• Evaluate competition and build SWOT analysis to optimize our ability to win
  
  

Offering

• Evaluate and build field service capabilities for overhauls
• Identify high failure or high-volume parts to stock, and recommend suitable stocking levels
• Collaborate with engineering team to improve key parts
  
  

Commercial

• Develop and drive strategic marketing and communication plans
• Develop pricing plan in collaboration with Pricing team for key customers and products
• Collaborate with other third-party vendors and service companies to complement our offerings
• Responsible for the overall topline growth for this business segment
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
• Knowledge of combustion, emissions and performance standards of reciprocating engines
• Midstream industry experience is highly desirable
• MBA would be a plus, not necessary
• Basic understanding of contract structures
• Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with customers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), CRM and SAP
• Commitment to safety, customer service quality and to work in team-oriented environment
