Job Overview
The Mechanic II will perform duties related to the disassembly, positioning, reassembly, testing and painting of moderate to highly complex equipment utilizing a combination of manual, pneumatic and hydraulic tools for fitting, adjusting, and securing maneuvers. Clean inspect and repair Natural gas engine and compressor components in a shop environment, must be able to adhere to all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and regulations. Be capable of reading detailed prints, use and read micrometers, dial calipers and dial indicators. Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies and regulations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
- Utilize a wide range of mechanical tools and equipment to perform tasks related to equipment disassembly, assembly, and testing.
- Conduct Risk Assessments prior to performing operations and material movements.
- Complete all required business training and documentation.
- Ensure facility equipment and tooling are operational, efficient, and safe.
- Identify and report problems or hazardous conditions during equipment operations.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and collaborative skills with team members.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Complete required documentation accurately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of experience in mechanical test and assembly/disassembly or heavy equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physically capable of performing tasks involving pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and other physical activities.
- Ability to interpret drawings, prints, and engineering specifications.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 2 years of experience in Operations/service center operation applications preferred.
- Strong knowledge of natural gas engine and compressor equipment preferred.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Ability to set up and run test operations following engineering specifications.
- Knowledgeable in safety regulations and good housekeeping requirements.
- Basic math skills and ability to read schematics.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment operation.

- Ability to work independently per engineering specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
