Duties
- Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and other treatments to meet individual client needs.
- Provide expert makeup application consultations and services for special occasions or everyday wear.
- Conduct skin analysis using advanced tools to recommend personalized skincare routines and products.
- Maintain strict sanitation and infection control standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
- Manage medical records accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, documenting treatments, client preferences, and progress.
- Educate clients on skincare best practices, product usage, and home care routines to promote long-term skin health.
- Support sales efforts by recommending suitable skincare products and retail items that complement treatments.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Esthetician with comprehensive knowledge of cosmetology principles.
- Proven experience in performing diverse esthetic services such as body waxing, hair threading, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and laser treatments.
- Strong understanding of sanitation protocols, infection control procedures, and safety standards within a spa or clinical setting.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate record keeping and client management.
- Knowledge of color theory, makeup application techniques, and current beauty trends to enhance client satisfaction.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships.
