Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our practice. The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The dental receptionist will be responsible for managing patient appointments, handling dental records, referrals, and providing exceptional customer service. We are a "non-participating" dental insurance office.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Eaglesoft.
- Handle patient inquiries via phone and in-person with excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review treatment plans and assist with documentation review as needed.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems Eaglesoft for patient management.
- Provide clerical support including filing, data entry, and managing multi-line phone systems.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical office role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, CDT Coding, treatment plans, and EMR systems Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desireable.
- Proficient in using EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction..
