Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dental Assistant at Cooper Creek Dental in University Park, FL. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for providing patient care and assisting the dentist during procedures. Daily tasks include preparing examination areas, sterilizing instruments, taking and developing X-rays, and providing oral care instructions to patients. The role also involves supporting the office's administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Qualifications
- Skills in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care
- Experience with Sterilization procedures
- Proficiency in Dental Assisting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program or certification
- Proficiency in using dental office software is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification are beneficial
