Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic Director of Talent to join our team at Chick-fil-A Hwy 287 and Arapahoe Rd. This “hands-on” management opportunity is designed to give you a career in the most highly-esteemed restaurant chain in the nation. This opportunity provides a clear roadmap for your professional growth to get you into a senior leadership role specifically suited to match your strengths.
Your Impact
- Ensure proper recruitment and onboarding to maintain staffing levels at 120 team members
- Continuous improvement of how we select talent (hiring rubric, standard operating procedures, hiring systems)
- Work with Third Party Recruiter, Cooper Connect, to source talent and maintain job postings and job descriptions
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and maintain all documentation required
- Oversee the processing of payroll, administering of benefits and communicating changes with team
- Provide training to employees and supervisors regarding accurate timekeeping policies and procedures
- Oversight of weekly audits of timekeeping and payroll records to ensure correct deductions, payrates, and accruals
- Coordinate and schedule Team Member interviews with Senior Directors
- Creating and conducting new team member orientation with a focus on vision, mission and values and Chick-fil-A culture with an eye for continuous improvement
- Celebrate team member achievements
- Enforcing critical components of the employee handbook and development manual
- Overseeing all documentation, write ups, growth plans and digitally managing all employee files
- Create and execute systematic leadership development growth paths that positively impact the team’s performance
- Coach, correct and encourage team members on a daily basis to strengthen Chick-fil-A culture
- Partner with managers and supervisors to ensure effective performance management, coaching, and disciplinary action
- Work with employees to resolve workplace issues as they arise
- Support mediation between employees as needed
- Conduct first 30 day check-ins with all team members and exit interviews
- Meet bi-weekly with all directors to ensure hiring metrics are met and weigh in on coaching and terminations
- Stewarding uniform orders and tracking for new hires and current team members
