Job description
Established law firm seeks a qualified Paralegal or Legal Assistant to draft legal documents in our Medina, Ohio office. Duties will include analyzing information from various sources, preparing detailed and accurate documents in strict deadline situations and efficiently carry out other clerical and administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be self-directed, analytical, detailed oriented, and be able to handle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands. A mastery over word processing applications and the ability to adapt to new technology is a requirement.
The candidate must be an independent worker, capable of planning and managing their workload to comply with deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Must show aptitude and willingness to learn complex legal concepts quickly
- Highly organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal communication skills are required
- Prior experience as a law office is strongly preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with computers and a variety of software products is required
- Proficient typing skills required
- Must be an independent worker, capable of planning and managing their workload to comply with deadlines.
Job Type:
Full-time, in office
- Monday to Thursday - 8am - 5pm
- Friday 8am - 12pm
Education:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree is helpful but not required.
Experience:
Paralegal: 1 year (Preferred)
