Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops using appropriate farm machinery and hand tools.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as tractors, irrigation systems, and other heavy machinery, including basic repairs and welding when necessary.
- Care for livestock by feeding, watering, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring animal health.
- Handle animals safely and responsibly, including equine care and general animal handling tasks.
- Operate heavy equipment like forklifts and other power tools to support farm operations.
- Support infrastructure projects through equipment repair, welding, or maintenance tasks to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with greenhouse management and horticultural activities to promote healthy plant growth.
- Follow safety guidelines for heavy lifting, equipment operation, and use of hand tools to prevent accidents.
- Support irrigation systems setup and troubleshooting to optimize water distribution for crops.
