What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Account Manager position at Cooney Technologies?
This dynamic and unique role within the Cooney Coil and Energy division of Cooney Technologies organization provides a broad spectrum of opportunities and responsibilities as defined below. This position is classified as exempt.
This position will need to be present in our King of Prussia office each Monday and will be in the field (targeting the New Jersey area) the rest of the week.
Focus:
- Achieve growth through multiple channels to include but not be limited to:
- End user accounts focused in the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Institutional and Commercial Sectors
- Mechanical Contractor channel
- OEM channel
Responsibilities:
- Realize the revenue and profit expectations and achieve or exceed quarterly goal expectations for the assigned territory
- Achieve the technical expertise to perform all duties without engineering or manufacturer support
- Active within the territory a minimum of four days per week; local travel in excess of 75% or more
Skills, Requirements, and Competencies:
- Minimum 2 years prior sales experience
- Valid and current driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong understanding of arithmetic, measurement, and fractions
- Physical requirements: must be able to climb (ex. A ladder) while carrying a tool bag; must be able to work in hot and cold temperatures
- Proficient within Microsoft Office’s suite of tools
- Effective time management and organizational skills (ex. Calendar management, expense organization, logistics planning, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Presentation development and execution experience
- Participation within a collaborative workplace
