What you’ll do
- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators with precision and safety.
- Assist laborers when needed
- Manage the operation of dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks to transport materials effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction tasks while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and address any mechanical issues promptly.
- Utilize commercial driving skills to navigate various terrains while transporting equipment and materials to job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of construction sites as needed, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating farm machinery when required for specific projects or tasks.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a strong focus on safety practices.
- Valid driver’s license
