Our busy, upbeat orthodontic practice is looking for an orthodontic assistant who's ready to bring positive energy, great chairside skills, and a sense of fun to our team. Previous experience as an orthodontic or dental assistant is preferred, but we're happy to train the best fit for our office. Your duties will include welcoming patients with a smile, assisting the orthodontist in orthodontic procedures, taking impressions, 3D scans, dental x-rays, and records.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental treatments or surgeries, ensuring they are comfortable.
- Assist dentists during procedures, handing instruments and materials as needed.
- Record dental records and medical histories of patients.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain the cleanliness of dental equipment.
- Take dental X-rays and develop them as required.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A dental assistant certification or diploma from a recognized program is a plus!
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and equipment, including X-ray machines.
