Coombs Gas is a family-owned and operated propane company proudly serving families and businesses across Mississippi and Tennessee since 1969. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in our Aberdeen, Mississippi office.
Position Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play an important role in serving our customers and supporting day-to-day operations. This position involves assisting customers by phone and in person, processing payments, scheduling service, and helping ensure an excellent customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer customer phone calls and assist with questions and service needs
- Process payments and maintain accurate customer records
- Schedule propane deliveries and service appointments
- Open and update customer accounts
- Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Provide information about Coombs Gas products and services
- Work closely with team members to support daily office operations
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good computer and phone skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Attention to detail and documentation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other basic computer programs
- A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus, but not required
