Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Tester – Advanced to support projects for the collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO). The QA Tester will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex technical solutions supporting Medicaid systems. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, change-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify, isolate, and resolve defects.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Maintain SDLC traceability between requirements, test cases, and system components.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support business validation activities.
- Perform functional, regression, UI, and negative testing to ensure application stability.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts with appropriate oversight.
- Participate in defect triage meetings, retesting, and issue resolution processes.
- Create and maintain QA documentation, test reports, and metrics.
- Ensure compliance with established QA standards, governance policies, and best practices.
- Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections of deliverables.
- Recommend improvements to testing processes and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with test planning, test case design, and execution.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium or similar).
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM).
- Knowledge of UAT processes and coordination.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare or Medicaid systems.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations.
- Experience working in government or public sector projects.
- Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
