Branch Manager

Coolman HVAC Supply has an immediate opening for a Branch Manager at our new branch in Rancho Cordova, CA! Looking for an individual who is driven, a self-starter, hardworking, and looking for a company that has growth opportunities.

Schedule - Monday-Friday 6:30am-5:00pm (workday start time and 8-10 hour days depending on branch needs)

Full Time - Base salary range between $70,000.00-90,000.00 DOE, plus commission.

Day-to-Day Branch Manager Activities

• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Coolman HVAC Supply location you are in charge of.
• Oversee a team of 4-7 individuals.
• Spearhead continual improvement initiatives.
• Lead the team in their daily tasks.
• Function as the branch expert on all processes.
• Inventory control.
• Support the sales team when needs arise, help customers, resolve issues, and develop new business opportunities.
• Support the warehouse team when needs arise, pulling orders, unloading and loading trucks, working with them to ensure inventory is accurate, reordering stock as needed.
• Training, coaching, team development, and other HR responsibilities.
• Working with the Director of Operations on business development, HR, operations improvement.
• Working with other Coolman HVAC Supply locations Branch managers to support overall company operations.
• Managing branch finances.

Branch Manager Requirements

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• An Associate's degree is required.
• A Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50-250 pounds with help from others.
• Ability to sometimes work at heights up to 15 feet.
• Comfortable being on your feet all day.
• Honest and respectful to customers, employees, and suppliers.
• Regular, consistent attendance for scheduled shifts.
• 5 Years of inventory control experience is required.
• Experienced at safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders.
• Fluent and skilled in Windows operating systems, Google Suites, Gmail, and any inventory management system.
• Previous experience using Shopify POS is a plus.
• Proven track record of sales growth in an industrial supply house in an assistant manager, operations manager, or branch manager position.
• Has 5 years minimum experience leading a team of 4 individuals and being responsible for their performance, in an industrial retail, manufacturing, or trades environment.
• Can problem-solve and think critically.
• Has great communication and interpersonal skills, whether in person, over the phone, through email, or via text.
• Has great customer service skills.
• Reliable, patient, fair, and helpful.
• Servant Leader mindset.
• Driven for constant improvement in all things.
• Proven track record of personal growth.
• 2 years experience in HVAC Sales, Installation or Repair is required.
• Leads safety initiatives and prioritizes safety in the workplace.
• Organized and capable of multitasking, being able to thrive under pressure.
• Experience in QuickBooks is a plus.
