Essential Functions Performs all duties associated with the Registered Pharmacist position within the scope of licensure.
- Initiates and documents pharmacist interventions to change prescribing where required.
- Participates in patient care rounds as appropriate.
- Contributes to and participates in the departmental medication use evaluation plan, including but not limited to CMI (Clinical Management Initiatives).
- Reviews current medical/pharmacy literature regularly for recent developments in disease state therapeutics as well as new product development.
- Provides health professionals with drug information and/or references.
Education
Doctor of Pharmacy Pharmacy required.
