What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Alliance Lead – Silicon Ecosystems position at Cooler Master?
About Cooler Master
At Cooler Master, we do not just manufacture hardware; we build the backbone of the future. Cooler Master is transforming from a component-based company to a system solutions provider with high thermal authority. We are solving the volumetric and thermodynamic failure modes of current systems, tackling the severe thermal throttling and acoustic noise that plague standard PCs under sustained machine learning loads. We are a global collective of engineers, creators, and innovators. As we actively expand our footprint in the AI space and drive major technological innovations across the industry, we are dedicated to redefining the tech lifestyle.
Position Overview
The AI hardware revolution requires absolute synergy between silicon architectures and thermodynamic execution. We are seeking a Technical Alliance Lead to own the high-level technical and commercial relationships with Tier-1 silicon vendors. Based in the US, you will operate as the technical liaison between Cooler Master's systems architecture team and the HQ platform teams of our silicon allies. You will bypass regional ecosystem blockers to negotiate direct supply chains and secure exclusive hardware support, ensuring our system portfolio remains the apex vessel for the world's most advanced processors.
Key Responsibilities
How You Will Make an Impact
- Secure Silicon Advantages: Negotiate and secure direct supply chains for bespoke, unconstrained CPU/GPU integrations to guarantee our aggressive internal thermal mandates.
- Align the Paradigm: Position Cooler Master hardware as the ultimate vessel for our partners' latest AI software ecosystems, developer stacks, and agentic paradigms.
- Drive Co-Development: Manage the co-development of custom ITX logic boards with top-tier motherboard manufacturers and coordinate bespoke memory cooling integrations with leading memory brands.
- Executive Technical Translation: Translate complex, confidential silicon roadmaps into strict engineering tolerances for our internal product teams.
How to Succeed in This Role
- Speak the Language of Silicon: You must be able to engage with partner architects as peers, deeply understanding memory bandwidth limitations, thermal soak realities, and AI inference optimization.
- Navigate Corporate Politics: You excel at managing the friction between aggressive internal R&D schedules and the rigid validation protocols of massive silicon corporations.
- Ensure Software Synergy: You will guarantee that our systems ship ready to utilize partner developer centers and offer full, unthrottled support for major open-source AI software frameworks.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Experience: 10 years in technical business development, alliance management, or systems architecture interfacing directly with major CPU/GPU vendors.
- Industry: Deep roots in the OEM/ODM hardware ecosystem, enterprise computing, or AI infrastructure.
- Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of silicon architectures, unified memory protocols, and the emerging landscape of local LLM orchestration.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- The "Architect" Mindset: You view complex component integration not as a procurement headache, but as a strategic necessity that defines our competitive wedge.
- Strategic Influence: You possess the internal credibility to drive silicon partner requirements through to engineering execution without compromising our acoustic and thermal standards.
Why Join Us?
- Shape the Narrative: You will sit at the negotiation table with the architects of the AI revolution, ensuring Cooler Master is recognized globally as a premier launch partner.
- Innovation Culture: Join a lean, elite leadership structure empowered to make executive calls on the future of localized computing.
