Key responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate production team including receiving and shipping to meet safety, quality,and production goals
- Optimize operations through continuous improvement projects
- Ensure regulatory compliance and permit adherence
- Collaborate with engineering, quality and SCM on operational issues
- Oversee preventive maintenance and emergency work
- Implement and enforce safety and risk management programs
- Manage staffing, training, and personnel issues
- Develop a culture of Built-in Quality and strong customer relationships
- Conduct monthly safety meetings and participate in audits
- Review Key Business Indicators and manage raw material/WIP/FGs transactions
- Lead Kaizen events and identify cost reduction opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business (highly desirable)
- Minimum 3 years experience leading 20 staff in manufacturing/services environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing management disciplines
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Awareness of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or Kaizen
- Understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations
Desired Skills:
- ISO 9001 QMS knowledge
- Experience with tube manufacturing, mechanical, laser drill processes
- Bilingual English/Spanish
