Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to be based in Fremont, California, supporting all U.S. sites and operations. This role will oversee general accounting functions, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies, and partner closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations in the United States.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and capable of managing both operational accounting activities and strategic financial initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for all U.S. entities and sites.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
- Coordinate and support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and analyze financial results to identify risks and opportunities.
- Partner with FP&A, operations, HR, and other departments to support business decisions and process improvements.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff across U.S. operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Support ERP system enhancements, implementation projects, and automation initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA preferred.
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-site accounting operations.
- Experience in manufacturing or multinational environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus
