Cool Rite Auto Repair in Alsip, IL is looking for an experienced automotive technician who is strong in engine diagnostics, timing chains, water pumps, and general repair work.
We are looking for someone who can properly diagnose vehicles, not just guess and replace parts. Engine diagnostic ability is very important for this position.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnosing engine issues, drivability problems, misfires, overheating, no-starts, check engine lights, and electrical/mechanical concerns
Performing timing chain jobs, water pumps, engine repairs, suspension, brakes, A/C, and general automotive repairs
Accurately inspecting vehicles and communicating findings clearly
Working efficiently and keeping jobs organized
Maintaining a clean and professional work area
Requirements:
Must have real automotive repair experience
Must be confident with engine diagnostics
Must be able to perform timing chains and water pumps
Must have your own tools
Must be reliable, professional, and able to work in a busy shop environment
Pay depends on experience and skill level.
