Full-Time | $20–$40 per hour (Based on Experience)
Cool Pro Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our Long Island team. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and servicing residential and light commercial HVAC systems while maintaining professional customer interaction and job efficiency.
We are looking for a technician who can troubleshoot independently, complete repairs accurately, and represent the company professionally in customers’ homes and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Perform residential and light commercial service calls
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and recommend appropriate repairs
- Install and replace HVAC components as needed
- Follow manufacturer specifications and local building codes
- Provide clear explanations of repair options to customers
- Estimate labor and material costs when required
- Complete service tickets accurately and on time
- Work in various weather conditions as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC service or repair experience (Required)
- EPA Section 608 Certification – Type II (Required)
- Valid/Clean driver’s license
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Professional communication and customer service ability
