Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wines, and craft beers with precision and flair.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging guests warmly, anticipating their needs, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Manage cash transactions efficiently while processing payments securely and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates to enhance guest experience.
- Assist in bar management duties such as inventory control, stock replenishment, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize your knowledge of mixology, wine varieties, spirits, and brewing to educate guests and elevate their experience.
- Handle night club or banquet service scenarios with professionalism and energy during high-volume periods.
- Collaborate with team members to create a vibrant atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry roles is essential; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly valued.
- Demonstrated bartending skills with expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, and spirits knowledge.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing orders and transactions efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations seamlessly during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience in wine knowledge, brewing processes, or beverage industry certifications is a plus.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service while working in fast-paced environments like restaurants or nightclubs.
