What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agricultural Equipment Operator position at Cool Farms Inc?
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Till soil, plant and cultivate grain.
Attach farm implements, such as plow, discs, sprayers, or harvesters and drill to tractors using bolts and hand tools.
Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops.
Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust and spray crops.
Assist with irrigation - irrigate soil, assist with pivot irrigation and maintenance of pivots.
Assist with maintenance and service of irrigation equipment.
Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers.
Observe and listen to machinery operations to detect equipment malfunctions.
Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural productions, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.
Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
Hauling manure.
Operate agricultural equipment to perform custom manure spreading.
Drive farm truck to haul crops, tools, and supplies.
Harvesting of crops.
