Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pet Groomer to join our grooming salon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal handling, pet grooming, and customer service. This role involves providing professional grooming services to a variety of pets, primarily dogs, ensuring they look and feel their best while maintaining the highest standards of animal safety and comfort. Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing for dogs and other small animals
- Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming procedures
- Assist with pet care routines such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and work area in compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with pet sitting or boarding services when required, ensuring animals are well cared for during their stay

Qualifications
- Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is preferred
- Knowledge of dog training, veterinary technician experience, or veterinary assistant background is a plus
- Strong animal handling skills with an understanding of animal restraint techniques
- Experience working with animals such as dogs, cats, in a professional setting (kennel experience desirable)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for animals .
