Cool Cats Cat Sitting is an established and well-loved cat sitting company that provides high quality in-home pet care in Apex, Cary and surrounding areas and we are seeking exceptional pet visitors to add to our team.

***Requirements | Independent Contractors Must***
- Live in or adjacent to our service area. (27502, 27523, 27562)
- You must want to stay active and love cats!
- Must have a cell phone with picture capability and a computer.
- Must be good with computers and smart phones (this is a must!)
- Must be detail oriented, friendly and be professional in manner and appearance.
- Be physically fit and able to work and commute in all types of weather (this is a VERY active position and you have to show up even on rainy, snowy or humid and hot days.)
- Have access to a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver's license.
- Be 100% reliable (Cool Cats sitters do their best to cover in cases of emergencies, but this is not a job where "calling out sick" is tolerated, as the pets in your care depend on you.)
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with Cool Cats, fellow workers and clients, by returning emails, phone calls and text messages promptly.
- Be able to provide professional references.
- Provide a current and clean background check to Cool Cats. (We will provide you with the link to have your background check completed. The cost is paid for by the applicant.
- Complete online Pet First Aid training. (This is of no cost to you.)
- The ability to give medication to cats is not a deal breaker but if you can you have an advantage over other applicants.
Pay rate: Weekly hours will vary and depend on the needs of our growing client base. It could be anywhere from 0 to 40 hours per week. Minimum pay is $10 per 1/2 hour plus tips and maximum can be up to $30 per hour plus tips and holiday pay if applicable. Tips are likely!
***Standard visits for cats are 30 minutes between 7-10am and 4-7pm.
