Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create and maintain IT documentation, translating complex information into clear, concise materials for diverse audiences. This role involves collaboration with Development, Quality Assurance, and Technical Support teams to produce a wide range of technical publications, including manuals and product documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain IT documentation, ensuring clarity and conciseness for various target audiences.
• Collaborate with Development, Quality Assurance, and Technical Support teams to produce a variety of technical publications.
• Interview subject matter experts and technical staff to gather information and prepare written content.
• Organize and coordinate the layout and structure of technical materials.
• Research and incorporate additional information, such as drawings and specifications, to complete documentation.
• Review, critique, and edit various technical documents, including design documents and system overviews.
• Maintain and manage the internal documentation library.
• Provide and coordinate special documentation services as needed.
• Oversee special projects and provide guidance to junior staff members.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Technical Writing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business or technical writing.
• Proficient knowledge of multiple software and graphics packages.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Ability to work on moderately complex to complex document management projects.
• Experience in coaching junior staff is an advantage.
