Come join our team! We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our facilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to custodial responsibilities. This position offers an opportunity to be an essential part of our janitorial team. Several evening shifts are available. One evening shift is 8:00pm to 12:00 am
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and scrubbers to ensure optimal floor care and sanitation
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, removing trash, and restocking supplies regularly
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and custodial equipment operation
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices
- Prior experience performing floor care is plus
