JOB DESCRIPTION
Cookies in Paradise is seeking a dynamic individual as the company’s Office Manager. The company is seeking someone with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Candidate must be a flexible self-starter and must be able to work independently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and organize financial information
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis
- Assist in recruitment and hiring process; post jobs, call applicants, set up interviews, conduct interviews, onboard all new employees
- Maintain account receivable for multiple customers in Quick Books; reconcile invoices against payments by check, credit card, and EFT.
- Ensuring all new hire paperwork is completed
- Running background checks
- Tracking benefit eligibility and ensure all employees are properly enrolled
- Discreetly handling confidential HR issues/questions
- Managing termination process
- Provide administration support
- Creating new customer profiles and payment terms in Quickbooks.
- Responsible for petty cash, bank deposits, and company login on web banking
- Invoice through Quickbooks and processing all customer purchase orders.
- Administrative support to President
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior accounting knowledge/experience
- 1 year of experience with QuickBooks
- Expert at Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
- Efficient and accurate data entry skills
- Comfortable multi-taking in a fast paced environment
- Must have high school diploma and valid driver's license
- Ability to organize and maintain a safe work environment for all employees and our clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
