At Cookie Mill®, we handcraft premium logo and decorated cookies and cookie gift boxes or platters for corporate events locally and nationwide. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and someone with RI experience or cake decorating.
Position: Independent Contractor — Part-Time Seasonal (with potential to extend)
Hours: 10–20 per week, 2–4 days (10 AM–3 PM preferred) adding more hours with proficiency
Pay: $16.50–$20.00/hr DOE- Only hiring experienced cookie decorator at this time.
What You’ll Do:
- Keep the cookie kitchen clean, organized, and ready for production
- Assist with cookie decorating and icing prep
- Operate bakery equipment (ovens, mixers, edible printers, dough sheeter, etc.)
- Package cookies carefully for pick up, delivery or shipping

- Strong sense of urgency, able to juggle multiple tasks and changes throughout the day
- Love working behind the scenes with little to no customer interaction
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs when needed and comfortable being on your feet or seated for the entire shift
- Enjoy staying active in a fast-moving, production-focused environment with several tasks at once
- High attention to detail- with high standards
- Dependable and punctual — every role matters on our small team
- A good understanding of basic kitchen processes and equipment
