Commercial Glass and Glazing Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Commercial Glass and Glazing Project Manager to lead and coordinate glazing projects within the commercial construction sector. In this role, you will oversee all phases of project execution, from initial planning to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards. Your leadership will drive project success by managing teams, coordinating schedules, and maintaining clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

Duties

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial glass and glazing projects from inception through completion.
• Prepare and review construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Manage project schedules to meet deadlines effectively.
• Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing materials, managing contracts, and controlling project budgets with a focus on cost management.
• Coordinating construction schedule activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and maintaining construction regulatory compliance.
• Lead project teams by managing subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff; foster collaboration to achieve project milestones efficiently.
• Monitor progress through regular site visits; conduct quality inspections to ensure work aligns with plans and specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including progress reports, incident reports, change orders, and compliance records.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant construction regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Skills

• Experience with construction management software; Excel; Word; etc.
• Strong background in glazing construction, project scheduling, cost management, and project coordination within the commercial glazing sectors.
• Proven ability to manage teams in a construction management role.
• Deep understanding of construction plans, blueprints reading (schematics), contracts administration, and managing projects.
• Knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial glazing projects.
• Skilled in managing construction schedules coordination to optimize workflow efficiency across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
