What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Painter position at Cookeville Collision Center?
This position is Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable, hardworking, detail oriented, customer service focused individual with the eagerness to complete job responsibilities effectively and efficiently within our high paced, busy environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years automotive body shop painter experience
- I-CAR certification is preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Dependable attendance
- A positive attitude and good work ethic
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, and drug screen
Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze damaged areas to prep for painting
- Mask or tape off areas/components prior to paint application
- Mix paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors
- Paint vehicles with a high level of efficiency
- Check for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product
- Ensure finished product adheres to factory and dealership procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workspace
