Sonographer, Maternal Fetal Medicine (PRN)

Location: Abilene Maternal Fetal Medicine Department: Maternal Fetal Medicine Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 12 Summary: The Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer under the supervision of a qualified physician for diagnosis and treatment, performs a wide-range of high-risk perinatal diagnostic sonographic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to assess fetal development, maternal and fetal anatomy, and vascular structures. The role requires specialized skills in maternal-fetal imaging and supports the evaluation, diagnosis, and care of complex pregnancies within the ambulatory setting. Schedule: PRN - as needed Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Minimum 1 year of experience in high-risk obstetric ultrasound in a hospital or maternal-fetal medicine setting ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) required BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required About Cook Children’s: Our not-for-profit organization is comprised of a flagship medical center in Fort Worth, Texas, a new medical center in Prosper, Texas, a physician network, home health company, surgery centers, health plan, health services, and health foundation.
