Summary: We are seeking an IT Asset Management Associate to oversee the administration of IT purchase and inventory systems, ensuring accurate asset tracking throughout their lifecycle. This entry-level role supports our organization’s asset management program by working collaboratively within a team to maintain high standards of inventory security, supplier records, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer IT purchase and inventory management systems effectively.
  • Update and maintain asset databases to track the lifecycle of all assets.
  • Receive and manage inventory while ensuring asset security.
  • Maintain and manage supplier records, service level agreements, and software license information.
  • Assist in developing enterprise-wide IT purchasing standards and procedures.
  • Process new equipment and software requests and monitor procurement and deployment activities.
  • Verify financial data related to assets and monitor changes in inventory.
  • Perform spot checks to ensure process and system quality.

Required skills:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 0 to 1 year of experience in asset management, procurement, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures and checklists.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work under general supervision.
