Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Shell Superintendent to oversee and manage field operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage jobs, coordinate schedules, and ensure all aspects of the project run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple jobs and oversee day-to-day field operations
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors
- Lead and participate in jobsite meetings
- Order materials and manage deliveries
- Schedule and coordinate equipment usage
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Enforce safety standards and maintain compliance
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Maintain quality control across all phases of construction
Required Experience:
Concrete:
- Pile caps
- Grade beams
- Stem walls
- Pad footings
- Elevated cast-in-place decks
- Tie beams and columns
Masonry:
- Wall layout
- Masonry openings
- Wall heights
- Lintels
- Tie beams
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in structural shell construction
- Proven experience in a Superintendent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of concrete and masonry practices
- Ability to manage schedules, crews, and multiple job sites
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- OSHA certification
