Job Description
The Training Coordinator will assist the Training Instructor with the on-site corporate training program and coordinate the curriculum for the overall training program of the company.
Specific Duties Include:
- Follow the guidelines and schedule for the training of new technicians and salespeople, including the general week of classroom training, the week of specialized pest control training and the week of specialized termite control training.
- Handle all orders for correspondence courses for the Advanced and Master Technician Program, NPMA Field Guides and Training Objective Checklists.
- Compile all training manuals and laminated cards for Commercial PC training class.
- Compile Sales presentation booklets for Sales classes.
- Assist the Training Instructor with selecting and utilizing training material and media.
- Coordinate meals and lodging for training.
- Serve as the initial contact for any training needs or questions.
- Administer testing for training class and grade the results of the tests as needed.
- Prepare diplomas for training classes.
- Provide training support for all employees in the field.
- Maintain database of students training.
- Input into the database all new employees and terminations. Also, monitor the Technician Advancement Program status.
- Contribute to team effort by performing any other duties deemed necessary by the Training Coordinator or Director of Training.
Saturday and evening work may be required at times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous administrative experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
