We are a growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) company seeking an experienced

HVAC/Refrigeration Specialist to support our restaurants throughout the state. If you are a

Position Summary

The HVAC/Refrigeration Specialist is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and

installing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment at multiple restaurant locations across

the state. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our restaurants remain operational by

minimizing equipment downtimes and responding promptly to service needs.

Responsibilities

● Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems.

● Service commercial refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers,

reach-in coolers, and ice machines.

● Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.

● Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerator control systems.

● Recharge refrigerant systems and repair refrigerant leaks in compliance with EPA

regulations

● Maintain detailed service records and complete work orders electronically.

● Coordinate with restaurant management regarding repair status and equipment needs.

● Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.

● Participate in an on-call relation for emergency service.

● Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

● Minimal of 5 years commercial HVAC/Refrigeration experience (QSR or restaurant

experience preferred).

● EPA Universal Certification (required).

● Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

● Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

● Experience servicing:

○ Walk-in coolers and freezers

○ Reach-in refrigeration

○ Ice machines

○ Rooftop HVAC units

● Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.

● Excellent communication and customer service skills

● Ability to lift 75 pounds and work on ladders and rooftops

● Willingness to travel extensively through the assigned stats.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with hot-side restaurant equipment is a plus.

● Experience with preventive maintenance programs.

● Journeyman or HVAC/R certification.

Schedule

● Full-time

● Monday-Friday

● Weekend and after-hours emergency service as needed

● Statewide travel required
