Duties

• Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and safety are maintained at all times
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage customer transactions including cash handling, processing payments, and issuing receipts with precision
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace by cleaning kitchen equipment, counters, dining areas, and ensuring sanitation standards are met
• Restock supplies, organize food stations, and assist in food preparation during peak hours to ensure smooth operations
• Support food safety practices by handling food properly, following hygiene protocols, and adhering to sanitation guidelines

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with knowledge of food preparation and customer service techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash register operations
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy periods while maintaining accuracy
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales opportunities while providing excellent service
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices
• Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly attitude that fosters positive guest interactions
• Experience operating kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, or ovens is preferred but not required; training will be provided
