Full job description:
Cook Mfg Company is a family-owned company that manufactures industrial equipment. We are currently hiring part time custodian at our facility in Paris Michigan
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure they are presentable and safe.
- Conduct thorough janitorial duties in both commercial and residential settings.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.
- Handle industrial cleaning responsibilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Provide porter services by transporting items as required within the facility.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are met efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning or custodial roles is highly desirable.
- High level of attention to detail
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and standards.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively.
- Basic maintenance skills to assist with facility upkeep.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
