We’re looking for a Community Director to keep things running smoothly at our affordable rental housing properties!

We’re Cook Inlet Housing Authority – we develop, own, and operate a portfolio of affordable rental housing in the Cook Inlet region of southcentral Alaska. We are leaders in community development and advocacy work around affordable housing. We are the Tribally Designated Housing Entity for Cook Inlet Region Inc. What You’ll Do:

  • Help residents feel at home by managing move-ins, rent collection, and lease agreements.
  • Keep properties in top shape with inspections, maintenance coordination, and compliance checks.
  • Work with the Resident Services team to foster a vibrant community.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in property management or office administration (minimum 2 years).
  • Direct experience with property management software, preferably affordable housing software.
  • One of the following certifications: Certified Occupancy Specialist, Accredited Resident Manager, Housing Certified Credit Compliance Professional or other commensurate certification/designation as approved by Director, Operations & Strategic Initiatives.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service with compassion and professionalism.
