JOB SUMMARY
Dept: Employee Health Services
LOCATION: John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital
SHIFT: (Monday - Friday) 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Starting salary is commensurate with years of RN experience

The Clinical Nurse II utilizes skills to evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow. Ensures that all patient care, surveillance, infection control compliance and administrative functions are performed within the guidelines of Cook County Health & Hospitals System (CCHHS) policies, procedures, quality directives and government compliance standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
  • Minimum of Three (3) years of nursing experience.
  • Must possess an active Basic Life Support certification (BLS). (Must provide card at time of interview).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing.
  • BSN degree in Nursing
